In Latin America, a menjunje is the mix someone makes by hand, a little of this, a little of that. We made four, blended in Peru. One for each part of your day.

What is a menjunje?
A concoction: the brew someone mixes at home from whatever leaves, roots, fruit, and flowers the kitchen keeps. Ours are four loose-leaf blends, one for morning, after a meal, evening, and company.

A leaf needs room to open. Bagged tea is usually broken bits and dust. Quick but bitter, the aroma mostly gone before you buy it. Whole loose leaf unfurls into a rounder, cleaner cup. No bleached paper, no staples, no strings. Each pouch holds 20–25 cups.
Depends on the blend. Daybreak has caffeine from Cusco green tea. Dusk has low caffeine from Cusco black tea, well below a straight cup. Rooted and Gather are caffeine-free.
